Sign in and choose a workspace

Select a team and project and prepare the access you need.

Open DataMaker Cloud or the application URL supplied by your administrator and sign in through the configured Automators authentication service.

Select the intended team and project. If you have been invited to an existing team, use that invitation rather than creating a separate workspace for the same work. A new workspace needs a project before you can create project assets.

Team access

Administrators manage invitations and roles in the team settings. The roles are Business user, Member, Admin and Owner; see Workspace access for what each permits. Use Team invitations for invitation and seat behavior.

API access

You do not need to manually install an MCP server to start a chat. For scripts or CI, ask an administrator for an API key with the appropriate scope and role; they create it in Settings → Team, under API keys. Keys have their own READ_ONLY, READ_WRITE or ADMIN role; they do not simply inherit every permission of their creator.

Store the key securely and send it using X-API-Key. See REST API for a first read-only request.

Continue

Start with a small dataset in chat or your first template. For a local workspace, follow Desktop setup.
